Freek in all his mullhawked, glow-in-the-dark teethed, chameleon-tongued glory.
this started out as one of those 'on a whim' sketches. i wanted to finish it but couldnt figure out a style for it. then my friend ~TIMISDEATH2ALL suggested i put more detail into the finished product than i usually do, and do a different style than i usually do, and so this is the result. its kinda rushed cuz i was SET on not having to spend more than a day on it. i know it coulda used more work (some areas are more detailed than others, somethings wrong with the edges, there is no light source, etc), but more work means more time, time that should be spent on commissions >.> p.s. THE FUR WAS DEATH. |

We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it. Each day we will feature 5 deviations from the Literature categories in a News Article. In order to support the artists that we feature, we ask that you  the news article as well as check out the individual pieces. We understand that each day you may not be able to check out each and every one of the pieces, everyone has their own things going on. I love the detail of fur, and the "glowiness" of the teeth!
I find it simply amazing how you can give him so much emotion, it's difficult to give such emotion to reptilian-like creatures, but you do it so well.
And damn!!! His eyes are just plain GORGEOUS!
And that tongue is amazingly done, the way it curls like that - great work!
