timber wolf pack versus spotted hyena clan

dont place ur bets just yet.. it may seem epic, but in reality, the only way a wolf would survive this battle is if it ran away. i believe it was preyfar who once said - if you want cute n cuddly, go with the wolf, if you want cold blooded killer, go with the spotted hyena :]

still, they are fairly matched and the moment before contact makes for a cool pic i think.

billions of references where hurt in the making of this artwork.

kewl..I have wondered on a fight between the two. And hyenas do have more powerful jaws,it would be a harsh fight though

hardly likely for these two to meet that's why i like this one. One of my dear friend works in conservation ~she's up north (Caprivi river~Namibia) now protecting and studying hyenas. She's moved from big cats ~ to big Dog. She sends me regular updates and photo's....i've met a tame one ones....like doggies
